Two ways to contribute
Community and expert posts · Free
Helpful, non-promotional articles for local pet owners, such as care tips, local guides or advice from your area of expertise. You'll get an author bio with a link to your website. We review every submission and publish the ones that suit our readers.
Sponsored posts · $99 per post
Articles that promote your business, product, service or offer. Sponsored posts are clearly labelled "Sponsored" and any links are marked as sponsored, in line with Google's guidelines.
Featured Partners can publish one guest post or promotion each month as part of their plan, at no extra cost.
Submission guidelines
- Content focus: pet-related topics relevant to Queensland pet owners. We don't accept unrelated content or posts written mainly for backlinks.
- Article length: 600 to 1,500 words.
- Original work: your article must be your own and not published elsewhere.
- Images: send 1 to 3 photos you own or have permission to use.
- We may edit for length, clarity and style.

Do you pay contributors?
No. Community posts are free to submit and publish, and you receive an author bio and link to your website.
Will my links be followed?
Links in community posts may be followed at our discretion. Links in sponsored posts and partner posts are always marked as sponsored.
How long until my post is published?
We aim to review submissions within two weeks and will let you know if your post is accepted.
Can I promote my business in a community post?
No. Promotional content must go through a sponsored post or a Featured Partner plan.
