How verification works
Verified means a business has confirmed its details and pet policy with us. It is never sold. Every listing can be verified for free. Paid plans keep that confirmation up to date each month, so pet owners always see a recent "last confirmed" date.
From listing to verified
- We create your free listing and email you a welcome message with a link to verify your details.
- Click the link and confirm your details. Your listing gets a green verified badge, and we email you a confirmation with a QR code for your listing. Share it with customers so they can leave you a paw rating.
- Free listings are re-verified by email every 12 months from your original verification date, and your last verified date is updated each time.
- About a month after you verify, we'll email you about the paid plans. If you'd like one, choose your plan and pay by card through Stripe. Your listing is updated to the new plan and we email you to verify your new details.
Good to know
- Verification links last 30 days. Each link can only be used once, so if you've already used it, wait for your next re-verification email.
- You can cancel a paid plan any time. Open your most recent verification email and choose "Cancel my subscription" at the bottom. That link never expires.

No. A standard listing in the directory is free, and you can keep it without ever subscribing. The paid plans are optional extras for businesses that want to keep their listing fresh and current.

You can also update your listing any time and show special offers.
What does Featured Partner ($49 per month) add?
Everything in Verified & Visible, plus unlimited description text, up to 20 photos, social media, website and phone number fields, an analytics report with your monthly re-verification email, and top placement in searches for your town and category in a green Partner box. You also get one guest blog post or promotion a month to share with our pet owner audience.
Does paying make my business verified?
No. Verification depends on the business confirming its details and pet policies with us, not on payment. Your listing is only shown as verified once that confirmation is done.
I signed up under the old Founding Partner plan. What happens now?
Your current subscription isn't being cancelled, changed or moved to a new plan. We won't change what you're charged without your agreement. If you'd like to talk about the new plans, get in touch using the form below.
How do I sign up for a paid plan?
About a month after you verify your free listing, we'll email you the paid plan options. Choose your plan, enter your card details through Stripe and submit. Your listing is updated to the new plan and we email you to verify your new details. You can also send us a message using the form below.
How long do verification links last?
Verification links last 30 days. Each link can only be used once, so if you've already submitted it, you'll need to wait for your next re-verification email.
How do I cancel a paid plan?
